Class Rules And Dress Code
Watching and WhatsApp Group: Parents/visitors are not permitted inside the dance class, as children either feel self-conscious or get distracted. We allow parents of children who are trying class for the first time to watch the beginning and end of the lesson. We will invite parents to watch and video the dance occasionally and NOT every week, as letting the parents inside each week, wastes learning time. Only come into the class when invited. Practice should mainly be done with music and not videos to increase and develop movement memory as recommended by the British Dance Council.
Performances And Exams: We have an annual dance recital where all students will have the opportunity to perform in front of a large audience on stage which is usually held every March. Students are also able to take part in accredited dance exams twice a year, in December and in July.
